Thanksgiving family traditions. Thankful Tree.

I love Thanksgiving.  A chance to be with family, be thankful, and eat.  No gifts.  No pressure.  Just good food, family, and a celebration of life’s blessings.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love Christmas, but I think Thanksgiving often gets lost with all the shopping ads, media and Christmas hype.

So this year I started a Thankful Tree.  Whenever we have people over in the month of November, we have them write one thing they are thankful for and tie it on to the Thankful Tree.  I love seeing our tree filling up with thankfulness.
